SALES TERMS AND CONDITIONS DETALE
The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed by the customer (hereinafter referred to as “you” or “customer”) with Detale Studio, at the DETALE website “www.detale-studio.com”.
By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out herein (the “Terms”). Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully before placing any orders.
The DETALE Website only offers products that we have in stock and that are published on the DETALE Website. The inclusion of these products does not mean that they will be available at any time. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
We may unilaterally modify the Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version of the Terms that will apply to your order will be those on the DETALE Website at the time you place your order. If you do not agree to any change to the Terms then please immediately stop using the DETALE website.
The purchase prices displayed on the DETALE Webiste include the statutory Value Added Tax (“VAT”) but do not include a delivery charge. If the VAT rate applicable on the date of the order is changed after the order has been made, the change will be reflected in the price of items without you being notified.
For the items ordered on the DETALE Website a delivery charge for shipping will be added to the purchase price. For international orders outside of Europe, a customs duty will be charged to you depending upon the country in which you reside. Detale Studio is not responsible for payment of this duty. By law, we cannot change the value of order on commercial invoices. We must adhere to all international import/export laws.
If you decide to refuse your shipment, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund. All international orders are shipped via UPS or DHL.

Once you have placed your order, if you have supplied us with your email address, you will receive an email confirmation. If for any reason we are unable to fulfil your order, we will let you know as soon at the earliest chance. If we have already received payment for this order, we will attempt to refund the applicable amount as soon at the earliest chance. Sometimes alternative arrangements may be necessary, in which case we will contact you to settle the refund.
DETALE will take the greatest of care to be as accurate as possible when receiving and dispatching orders. We always endeavour to deliver your order to a residential address, post office or pick-up location. Please note, we only ship to home or office addresses and not to P.O. box addresses.
DETALE will dispatch the approved orders as quickly as possible and in the order that they have been received. Depending on delivery method and time of placing the order, delivery normally takes about 2-12 working days. (Monday – Friday) Check your country for delivery time in 2.2
Delivery times may vary depending on where the order is to be delivered. Occasional delays may occur during peak periods or in the case of unexpected events. At the latest, orders will be delivered within a 30 day window from placing the order. In the unlikely event that your delivery time exceeds 30 days, you may cancel your order.
If your order does not arrive by the scheduled date, please contact DETALE immediately.
You have the right to cancel or return your purchases within a period of 14 calendar days after the day of delivery of the ordered item(s), which means that you are allowed to change your mind and send back the items you have received, without any obligations from your side, apart from the return shipping fees. For the avoidance of doubt, after the above mentioned 14 calendar days period, a cancellation will not be possible, unless DETALE and you agree otherwise.
If you have been charged for the items, you will receive a refund of the purchase price.
For the avoidance of doubt, you may also partially cancel your order, which is subject to this section 5.1. In this case you will receive a refund of the purchase price for the respective cancelled items.
If you wish to cancel or return your order, please provide us with notice by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Such notice must be sent within the 14 day period as outlined in section 5.1 above. After this, you then have an additional 14 day period to return the items to us as set out in section 6 (Returns) below. We will then provide a refund, attempting to use the same method that you used to make the payment (or, if the items have not yet been paid for, reflect the return of the items in your account balance), which we will do this as soon as possible. At the latest, the refund will be given within 30 days of receiving the cancelled items. Another payment method may be used for the refund, provided that you consent to such change.
If the item you have received is faulty, please notify us as soon as possible and return the item in accordance with section 6 (Returns) below. For any items that we do find to be faulty, we will always provide a full refund. The provisions outlined herein do not limit any applicable statutory rights.
DETALE guarantees either a full refund or to replace any items in accordance with section 5 (Withdrawal of Order). You shall treat the product and its packaging with care - please return items undamaged and unused, with all DETALE labels and tags intact. This means that the items should not have been damaged, soiled, washed, altered or worn (other than to try the item on).
For hygienic reasons underwear and swimwear cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.
Please note that (financial) responsibility for the return is yours until it reaches us. All items returned should include the completed returns note with an order reference number and your contact details. Unidentified returns may not be eligible for a refund. For faulty items DETALE will make a full refund to you as soon as possible and at the latest within 30 days of receiving the cancelled items.
Please hand the parcel in at your collection point or post office. You are liable for damage to the garments until we receive the cancelled items, so in case of a dispute, we recommend that you keep the collection point receipt as proof of postage.

You can pay for your items in various ways as set out below.
Credit card or debit card
You can enter your payment details at the time that you place your order using a valid credit(VISA or Mastercard) or debit card (Ideal). The applicable amount will be immediately reserved on your card but will not be debited until the the ordered items have been dispatched. DETALE reserves the right to check the validity of the credit or debit card, its credit status in relation to the order value and whether the address data of the purchaser is correct. We may refuse orders depending on the result of these checks.
When paying by PayPal, DETALE reserves the right to check the validity of the PayPal account, that there are enough funds to cover the purchase sum and validate the billing address details of the purchaser. DETALE reserves the right to deny any purchase. Your PayPal account will only be debited after your order has been dispatched from the warehouse. The currency used is Euro (€) for all countries except for Sweden (SEK), Denmark (DKK), the UK (British pound/£), USA($), Canada(CAN$), Japan(Yen) and United arab emirates($).
Please note, we do not accept cash or cheques.
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability with regard to any matter for which it would be unlawful for us to limit or exclude our liability.
DETALE accepts liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or that of our employees and agents. We do not seek to exclude liability for fraudulent misrepresentation by us or our employees or agents. If we breach these Terms, we shall only be liable for losses which are a reasonably foreseeable consequence of such breach.
DETALE is not responsible for indirect losses which are a side effect of the main loss or damage, for example loss of profits or loss of opportunity; or for failure to deliver the goods or to meet any of our other obligations under these Terms where such failure is due to an event that is beyond our reasonable control, which includes but is not limited to fire, flood, storm, riot, civil disturbance, war, nuclear accident and terrorist activity.
Our maximum liability to you for any loss or damage arising in connection with your order on the DETALE Website shall be limited to the total purchase price of your order.
DETALE is not liable for any damages to third parties making use of any of the DETALE products. Furthermore, DETALE is not liable for misuse of the DETALE products.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and composition of the products that appear on the DETALE Website. DETALE cannot guarantee that the colors and composition of the products are the actual colors and composition, as this may this may be due to the display of your computer, phone or any other device.
Title to items ordered by you shall remain vested in DETALE and shall not pass to you until the purchase price for the respective items has been paid in full and received by DETALE.
If any part of these Terms is disallowed or found to be ineffective by any court or regulator, the other Terms shall continue to apply.
All trademarks, service marks and trade names on the DETALE Website are proprietary to DETALE. No use of any of the content of the DETALE Website may be made without the prior written authorization of DETALE. No license is granted with respect to these intellectual property rights. The DETALE Website and all of its content and the selection and arrangement thereof, is protected as a compilation under the applicable copyright laws.

The exclusive place of jurisdiction for any and all disputes from or in connection with these Terms and/or any order placed on the DETALE Website shall be Amsterdam, the Netherlands, provided that DETALE shall also have the possibility to initiate proceedings against the customer before any other court.
The Terms and/or any order placed on the DETALE Website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The applicability of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is explicitly excluded.
